GTM that doesn’t turn into a graveyard.
We design and deploy web GTM and server-side GTM with a clean data layer, naming conventions, and governance. Your tracking stays accurate, fast, and debuggable — even after two marketing team rotations.
GTM without the chaos
Most GTM containers we audit have 40+ tags, half unused, half duplicated, all undocumented. We fix that shape of problem for good.
Data layer that lasts
A proper spec — events, params, naming — documented and enforced. Works for analytics, ads, CRM, server-side. One source of truth.
Server-side when it matters
Server-side GTM on your subdomain. Better data quality, faster pages, resilient to blockers. Not always needed — we tell you honestly.
Consent-aware by default
Consent Mode v2 wired, tags gated by purpose, audit trail. Works with Didomi, OneTrust, Cookiebot, Axeptio.
Version-controlled
Every change tagged, annotated, reviewable. Rollback is one click. Never again “who broke tracking last Thursday?”.
Governance rules
Naming conventions, tag templates, a go/no-go checklist. Your marketing team can add tags without breaking the container.
Handoff, not lock-in
You own the container. We give you the spec doc, the runbook, and training. If we stop tomorrow, you don’t.
Audit, design, deploy, govern
GTM is plumbing. We set it up so you stop worrying about it and your marketing team stops breaking it.
Audit
Inventory tags, triggers, variables. Score by usefulness, overlap, and risk. Identify what to keep, kill, consolidate.
Design
Data layer spec, naming conventions, consent mapping. Server-side architecture if it earns its keep.
Deploy
Build the new container on a staging version, QA against your site, publish. Old container archived for reference.
Govern
Runbook + training + optional monthly review so drift stays under control.
Straightforward pricing
Most engagements fall into one of these three shapes. Need something else? Ask for a custom quote.

Frequently asked
Q·01 Do we need server-side GTM?
Maybe. If you care about data quality for paid media, have iOS-heavy traffic, or want first-party cookies — yes. If you have a simple WordPress site and a small budget — probably not. We tell you honestly after the audit.
Q·02 Will you touch my current container or rebuild it?
Depends on its state. Often a rebuild in a new version is faster and safer than patching 5 years of accumulated debt. Either way we don’t publish without your sign-off.
Q·03 How do you handle GA4?
GA4 lives in GTM by default. We either set up GA4 fresh, fix your existing one, or coordinate with prodigy-analytics.com if you need a full analytics rebuild.
Q·04 Can my marketing team still add tags?
Yes — that’s the point. We leave a template kit and a checklist so your team can deploy common tags (Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) without breaking the container.
Q·05 What about Consent Mode and cookies?
Consent Mode v2 is the default. Every tag gated by purpose. Works with any major CMP. If you also need a CMP deployed, see prodigy-cmp.com.
Q·06 How long does a full rebuild take?
Usually two weeks for a web container, three to four with server-side.
